You want scary? Try Cry of Fear. It's a Half Life (1, not 2) mod. Now that shit is insane. Jump scares everywhere.
Also, I now also play Dirt 3 and Death Road.
My favourite game at the moment is Battlefield 3, on none other than the PC. No console could provide you with such a dazzling experience. Not one. The breathtaking moment where an F-18 flies so elegantly past you simply cannot be replicated on any other system in my eyes. I am also fairly good at it, acquiring a 1.5 k/d ratio, which isn't bad at all. I do still play some Modern Warfare 1 and 2 as I still enjoy the faster, less tactical gameplay of it.
Nah, I'm not really into those genres. I prefer games that have more action in it, with just one main objective to worry about (winning) which keeps me fully focused, as opposed to that of a roleplaying game where you're focused on more than one (in the sims case, different people, jobs, etc.) I just tend to find some roleplaying games are a bit complicated and boring.
