Greetings to all the Le members who shall inevitably cast their eyes upon this humble supplication! As you have probably assumed due to the location of my post, I have decided to apply to the clan Le. First I will proceed to cover details on my own person and history, both important and irrelevant. Following that, I shall then explain the why and wherefore that led me to this decision and anything else I think I need to include. Now, lets not dilly dally around this verbose introduction any longer, onward to the interesting stuff!
My own history, both in the world of bits and bytes and that of physical reality, is somewhat colorful. I live in California, in the good ole' U. S. of A., the land of temperate climates and tasty burritos. California is located along the GMT -8:00 time zone, putting me eight hours behind the U.K. and 15 minutes late for work. Out here in the real world people call me Jeremiah, but here everybody just calls me Term. I like rock climbing, motorcycles(street bikes only pls), and sciency stuff. I have been a gamer since I could convince my parents to buy me a DS(played the hell out of mario kart) and currently love to putter around on obscure indie games of all descriptions. I more often than not avoid the mainstream titles and prefer "off the beaten track" games like toribash, Robocraft, Starmade, and Chaos Reborn. I'm a sucker for any game with a good economy and have a well fleshed out resumé in that respect. Back when I played TF2 I earned over 700$ trading in ingame items, and once I started playing toribash I quickly amassed a large sum of credits by playing the market. I am by no means wealthy, but I take pleasure in earning money using only my own powers of haggling, bargaining, and market prediction.
As for my toribash history; I started playing towards the end of 2013 and quickly rose through the belts. I changed my main account after a couple months of playing because I disliked my original choice of name, and here I am. Terminally. Terminally is short for TerminallyCapricious, a character in a webcomic that I follow quite avidly, but that was too long to be used, thus Terminally was born. I have approximately 15 different alt accounts and can provide a list upon request. I joined a number of small clans during my initial romp through the land of toribash, but the only one that really stuck out as shaping my toribash experience was Nitro. I was a member of the Nitro clan from ~2nd dan to ~4th dan black belt and worked my way up from my initial position as a member to the position I held when I eventually stopped playing toribash about a year ago, as second in command, war leader, and advisor to the clan that has hovered at/close to the #2 spot since before I joined. I ended up parting on good terms, as real life was calling and I found myself with little time for games. I find myself now, returning to Toribash, seeking a fresh experience and renewed fun. That is where Le comes in. I was hovering around recruitment servers deciding which clan seemed like a good fit when Donkey sent me the link to your recruitment page. I decided to give it a shot, as the clan's goals seem to align satisfactorily with my own and it seems like the kind of "family" clan that I could definitely see myself growing to be a part of. I mainly play ABD, Mushu, and anything else that can get a laugh out of me. I don't parkour/spar because I don't have the patience for it. It's not as fulfilling for me as simply messing around with friends and just having a jolly old time doing whatever crosses our paths. I love to bet and host betting servers on occasion. I can post replays if you are interested in seeing them. I am also a grammar stickler, and always try to use proper syntax and spelling whenever possible. I am active within reason. Not posting more often than necessary, but making my posts count where I do post. I will frequently be found ingame and on skype after school and on the weekends, homework and work allowing (I work part time at a climbing gym!).
I hope that this overly verbose supplication has been worth the read, and sincerely hope to be able to continue to contribute my humble voice of reason to those of the members of this faction, should I be accepted.
Yours truly,
Terminally
