I wish there was a larger variety of weapons in Skyrim, but mostly wish there were exotic ones that didn't look like an Axe/Sword/Mace/Staff/Hammer that you could use in combat. e.g. The severed leg in Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion.
But particularly a whip. Because I want to hunt vampires in style. And with some proper physics tweaking it could look awesome too. I'd settle for flails though.

Javelins, Spears, Flails, Whips and any type of Polearm should be added :S
Every melee weapon involve slicing (maces being the exception) and its kinda annoying :P
Have you guys heard of the 10th dragon priest mask?

It's actually the ninth dragon priest mask if you're talking about Konahrik

Woops my bad. I counted the wooden mask as the tenth. ^^

I'm kind of disappointed of Kohnarik.

Even the maces involve slicing. They use the same animations as the war axe and swords, and can even decapitate someone. Seriously.
The greatswords/battle axes/warhammers all share the same animations too. At least, from what i've seen of NPCs, since I don't use them myself.
And yeah I wanna see polearms make a return. Haven't been around since Morrowind.

Hmm.. I haven't played enough to notice these things since I only get like 11 fps on average (purchasing upgrades as we speak)

I know its really early to be saying this but..
I think you guys pwned the shit out of the game and I hope the next Elder Scrolls Game actually lasts a long time and I think the main story lines should have different endings, would be nice to add a morality (spelling mistake edit!) aspect to the game :P

What do you mean there is a mortality aspect to it. You can die in Skyrim, I dont see the problem.
Also the dragon priest mask I use on myself and I really like it, its Krosis.
"Always Extreme at heart."
I don't check the forums or go in-game anymore, I have quit.

Shit FAIL I meant Morality*
As in Good and Evil
Something along the lines of people starting to dislike you for randomly murdering people, or you having townspeople showering you with rice and flowers because you saved their town from Cthulhu or something would be good.

The system's already there - we have the bounty thing, which makes guards come after you and locals remark on it, and we also have the dynamic dialogue which makes commoners and guards comment on recent events or your equipment etc.

For instance, one of the saddest things I heard as a result of this system was when I was walking through town with my (Flawless) Blade of Woe. A guard says "Wow! Who'd you have to kill to get that blade?" in a joking tone. Not funny.
Every other game has it. Why not TES 6?
