I personally view the term "reality" as being a sort of overarching, all-encompassing, blanket state of existence that is both separate from and inclusive of different smaller, subjective states of existence. Events that happen within these smaller "realities" do not necessarily affect the larger "reality"; however, there can be instances wherein events that happen in the smaller "realities" overflow into the general "reality", thus causing what I would call a "causal redundancy". More than that, beings that exist outside of these various smaller states of existence are independent of whatever laws that operate within these smaller "realities", but are still bound by whatever governs the larger blanket "reality".

In response to Death's reality question, I believe there is a singular reality that is easily misconstrued by humans, and therefore creates another reality that, if enough people buy into, becomes the reality. The only way that this new reality is overturned is by the few who kept their vision in focus showing the idiotic masses the error of their ways.
