Ceativity. There are two unique options in MC to play, survival/hardcore(harder) or creative mode. In creative mode you have unlimited blocks to build with and you can build anything.
Survival/hardcore is basicaly what it says, hardcore is the same but much harder. You start out at a random place where you have to gather resources from such as wood, food etc. And you need to find yourself a place to build and survive. There are many methods of playing this. Simple freestyle, go to the end(fight a dragon) or just go wherever you want.

Ahh, I get it now, so it is in some way a sort of "do whatever you like" game? As in free roaming, make your own stuff and come up with your own ideas? If so it certainly sounds alot more interesting.

Basicaly yes. You can also do the same thing online with other people if you have a server.

If it's not too late I like dead space 2 it's a nice scary game with somewhat decent story line for it's genre I'm not joking either. Also good for making videos of you screaming at it while your scared xD
