Plus I'm such an idiot. My friend unboxed a 150 usd knife in cs:go and somehow persuaded me to trade my crappy 47 usd knife for keys. So far I opened 3, all 10 cent skins, and I ran out of cases to use the keys on.

People have done tests to see if getting those $400 knives every once in a while pays for the everyday losses of most other unboxes. On average, you'll make back 70% of what you paid for cases and keys. So the moral of the story is never open cases unless someone gifts you a key. Better to make five cents per case than lose 30% from unboxings. Same goes for TF2. I bought $100 worth of keys, and matched for crates. I'm still trying to get rid of the last of the nine Neon Annihilators and twelve Fists of Steel that I got, among other low end stranges.

Thanks for the tip hawkes, I'll just use up the rest of my keys because I don't care anymore. After this, I'm never touching a key again.
