[RL-Event]Banner Competition!
Presented by the Runner's League...

A design event competition for you guys to make us a new banner! So basically, our banner is pretty bad. We want you to make us a new one.

Runners League Organization

Details
-We want it to reflect running
-Does not have to include a tori character
-Around 500 x 300
-Does not have to include Runner's League
-Be creative, have fun.
-Does not have to have a slogan or many words

Deadline
All entries due by October 24, thats one whole month.

Rules
Keep your ideas original
Do not steal anyone's work or ideas
Must reflect our dedication
Maximum of 4 entries per person, may be swapped out.

Prizes
14k First Place
6k Second Place

Hey i here is what i have so far,
its all just one banner just looks a little different,
please choose which one you
like the most(if any)so i can get rid of the
other ones so I can submit others.

and i want to say i have alot of ideas for this specific topic
so let me know if you like these,thanks.

they are pretty much all the same just
with minor changes.

PLEASE NOTE:I do not want to count these
as all four of my submitted banners.

Jet, your idea is pretty sweet.
If I were you I would use Tori and Uke, preferably with shaders (meatwad_silver.inc), if your Graphic Card does not support them ask somebody to make you a picture like that.

Pick a simple color scheme, like: Blue, White and Black eg.

Make gloss a gradient (transparent to white) instead of just half transparent white.

Use different shape for the 'base', rectangle is too sharp. Use rounded rectangle shape and if you use PS pick radius of like 100px.

That's all I can think of at the moment

any help guys? i wanna put rounded edges on mine, but gimp isnt lettin me select my layer so wen i deleat it and put it on wit the brush, only half of the original layer is showing

Joe,
if you could put Uke in the same position it would be epic (meatwad_silver.inc shader of course). You should also make the rectangle smoother.
