Maybe if you started to practice what you preach, this ideology can work. You know, there are a lot of people like that, even on the internet. This, however, requires that you can be polite and decent when interacting with him/her. If you at least could fake being nice, it would be a start on the road to actually become a welcoming soul. Try it for once.
