that's only really advertising sega's stuff, because they're not hiding the fact that it's sonic and therefore could actually be helping sega a tiny bit by making people more interested in the franchise.
that being said, I could see a mario/luigi hat being popular with players with perhaps a mario based parkour mod.

They better not scrap it. Pumpkin Head sounds sick though It could be a texture but if it's 3D that'd be cooler and I'd probably buy it >:D

But since Nabi would profit from that and are the ones who made it Sega might ignore the fact that it's free advertisement and the fact that they're admitting that it's a hat based of a Sega character and sue them anyway and worst case scenario TB gets closed O_O Not worth the risk.
