One final idea I have is "multi-battles". It involves 3 - 4 players, all against one another. This one could lead up to great chaos, and, other than the extra players, it would function as a normal battle. It could also be used together with the idea of simultaneous battles and/or team battles.

Why are we reviving a concept that will never happen? I get it, you want more than 1v1, but if they could, it'd be done. And when it can be done, it will. So why post about it without any idea of how you could develop for computers and laptops.
The game is laggy and really glitchy enough as it is. You want to double that? Imagine 4 players with joint texture sets 512x512 all loading at once, and then colliding with one another. Yeaah good luck, it already takes me 7 seconds or so just to log a full joint texture set on one person.

I am surprised that this thread isnt closed yet... Can't people know that if they want a 2 v 2 just do it on 3.72, there is a tut how to activate 2 v 2 in toribash 3.72 version
