Its understandable that some of the TB members isnt english speaking or have english as their first language. Its not like english is the only language in the world.

T0ribash, its okay. Just keep trying and I'm sure we will understand

Speaking of enemies, Retribution would like to challenge you to a (sorta) friendly war, in either Aikido,Tk or Wushu.
Do you accept?
Tempo's Singleplayer Hints/Tips and Advices
Hello.

Since Ownagehuh isnt the only one asking how I'm making my replays I decided to make this thread.

This isnt easy in any way and it takes much practising until you reach impressive results. So dont come and say"It doesnt work" because no one can make you better if not yourself. Practising is the key. Here are some things to think about and you might take advantage of reading this.

Opening/Getting started
Okay, so if you want to make a nice and relaxed replay you have to get the right opener. You usually find it by experimenting with relaxed joints and so on. When you got a nice starter that you find fitting with the sort of replay you are trying to make. But remember, a great replay is mostly need of being edited. You're not making a perfected replay on your first attempt unless you really know what you're doing. Not much more to say, but please remember, as long as you dont hold all in the beginning your chances of suceeding will be near.

Offensive movements
When you're making a replay remember to stay active and dont make a lot of pauses. That will usually make the replay slow. Be aggressive in your impacts. Dont afraid the uke since it wont hurt you. When you're making a decap for an example, it wont look cool if you dont move rapidly and kick/punch him powerfully. If you want to dismember the uke more than one joint in a hit try to relax your wrist/ankle and it will sink in deeply to the joints and blow the ukes joints more than one time. Please notice that there is a slight chance of that you will dismember yourself. So dont always go ahead and boom uke. It might make some blowback and cause self dismemberment.
NOTE: SELF DISMEMBERMENTS IN A MADMAN MAKES IT INAPPROVABLE!

Hints on manipulations
Manipulation is an unique way to decap/split/madman uke in. Its not easy without grab but the ones without grab are always better. A little side note is that you might have problems with reaching uke while he is airbourne. Its totally understandable since its very hard if you're not familiar with making single player replays. If you want to make it look as cool as possible you should kick ukes head off. It doesnt mean that you have to decap him by kick because you can split him aswell.

Here is Muffindo's part:

Making original replays:

This is what you should try once you have mastered the madman and the decap, you would by then be able to controle Tori instinctively and accomplish your initial intention in the replay instead of only imrpovise (not that impro is bad). The first thing about doing an original replay is choosing your objective (that's why you need to minimize impro) you must make a challenge that will look imressive once it's finished, like decaping yourself and then throwing your head at uke to dismember him. Remember, the point of these replays are to impress, you might lose the match by points but it can still be stylish as hell.
Then you need to make your starter, no need to make something flashy, you will impress the spectator after. Just don't do a popular wushu opener or something similar.
If your replay has several actions, like a decap and then a pose, make the actions succeed rapidly, the one watching the replay might get bored and think it's done.

Theme suggestions:

Here is a little list of ideas to build your original replay:
-Self dismemberment. Some popular things to do with this is exchange heads with uke or throw one of ukes limbs and then catch it with your DMed hand
-Running. Pretty classic, you must make your own running style and end with some quick dismemberments, the running part musn't be too long but still longer that the DMs or else it will be a madman with a running intro and not running with a madman
-"Manipulation". Very hard as Tempo said, it consists in moving uke without dismembering him (at fist at least) and then ending with a cool attack. Mosier made a good example of this, he kept uke in the air for lots of frames and then when uke fell, he decaped him.
-Dancing. This one is also quite popular. It's usually breakdancing in sambo gravity (0; 0; -30). The point is to make the most impressive dance moves that look real, like headspins or handstands.

Tips:
-I recommend sambo gravity for theese. It's way easier to makea a pose, or even a standing pose (my favourite) in sambo grav. Also, you don't risk to fly away and have a boring moment in your replay.
-Remember, a static moment is a useless moment (most of the time) and a useless moment results in a lame replay and a lame replay is not impressive. Always keep in action.
-Do hard stuff. You need to make things that are hard, very hard. No matter how many times you need to edit the replay to make that DMed head make a split you must persist. An original replay must be impressive, or else it is only a total fail.
-Make a pose. You don't need to do it but if you are familiar with the concept and you are able to chain the main action and the pose rapidly, try it. It makes the replay look cleaner.
