when we will see upgrages to core game in visual and technical aspects (, bg effects, animated textures, optimising, 4 players and so on)

because you know, wasting a great opportunity to reach players who actually have payability and more or less modern computers will be quite hilarious.

I don't think those things will be possible to do with the whole "game is developed by the community" policy. Unless the steam release gets devs who are interested in remaking the game from the ground up to play Toribash.
