Wow that sounded just like in minecraft. How long have you been playing piano for?
Also, on the chiptune thing, it sounded good as far as notes / rythm goes. But the notes
seemed to have alot of... Reverb?
Not sure if thats the right term...
I understand chiptunes are supposed to sound like that, but maybe cut it down a little bit

Been playing for 2 years, I practice every almost every day for atleast 10 minutes. Sometimes when I get "in the mood" I will play for 2-3 hours at a time. As for the chiptune, the "reverb" sound is due to the way chiptunes work. There are only 4 channels available for placing notes. 1 note can be played per channel at a time, allowing only 4 notes at a time. 1 channel is dedicated mainly to drum/bass sounds. Leaving 3 channels for notes. I use 1 channel for notes around octave 3-4 and 1 channel for octaves 4-6. The chords that are played are done in 1 channel and due to only being to play 1 note at a time chords are emulated. They are played by rolling all the notes really fast to make it sound as though they are being played together. This creates that reverb sound. I am currently trying to find a way to speed up the rolling so I can shorten the notes so that they still include all the notes in the chord and remain snappy instead of being so long.

EDIT: sorry for wall of text.
