Fuck what scientists say, there full of shit. Look how much is out there chances are there could be humans on some other planet for all we know. if scientists did research buy exploring everything in the whole entire universe ill believe em but lets face it no matter what shitty gadgets they have there never going to know whats out there the only thing they'll know is if a meteorite's coming at us and how to do other scientist stuff they cant "predict" a time for anything. I know what ive seen i believe what ive seen i leave it at that.
I really dont much believe that well come in contact with them in 30 years, thats just what i heard. who knows we can come in contact with them anytime
Is there some other form of life out there? Maybe. I wouldn't doub't it with all the stuff out there in space who knows what lurking around out there. I doubt we've been visited though. Why would a spieces smart enough to travel through the void of space for who knows how long and how far, just to get a look at out primitive little world. Even if they didn't care about us and just wanted the planet they would of taken it by now.
Big Bang Theory: In the beginning there was nothing....which exploded... Creationists: If everyone shares the same imaginary friend, he must be real...
You both sound ridiculous so stop arguing...
What's to say they're so much more advanced that us? We might be closer to long distance interplanetary travel then it seems.

True, but even if we are a day away from inventing it, they would still be more advanced, since they would have not only a working vessel, but also have travelled a long distance.

I would expect they would be 'differently' advanced, similarly to Hitch Hikers Guide; "The Jatravartids are also unique because they were the first people in Universe who invented the aerosol deodorant before the wheel."

They face different problems, and come up with different solutions.

I expect we would both have some advances above each other.
I agree that there must be aliens out there - the chance for humans to be the only intelligent life-forms is incredibly slim, considering the size and age of the universe.
Now, aliens living on our planet is a completely different story. While I seriously doubt that, we can't really disprove it either. For all we know dolphins could be from a different planet.

Actually we know quite a bit about dolphins and can trace their linage back millions of years.

Unless you are referring to the theory of abiogenesis that theorises that life did not originate on earth. If so, then that doesn't make them aliens in our context!
