I have another 3D item suggestion. Cestus, sort of like this. For toribash, a simplified version of spiky strip wrapped around the front and sides of the hand would do nicely. It wouldn't cover the wrist so wouldn't be annoying like boxing gloves.

That honestly looks cool as fuck. Fits with the existing spikes, and to be honest, it'd look pretty baller with the Kickin' Kicks, or even the Geta. Maybe it'd work as elbow pads, and it could have kneepads to fit with it though. That'd be pretty cool, as those joints don't get much love.
