well i too cant run shaders, i have a 2003 windows XP with an Intel(R) 82845/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller with an Intel(R) Extreme Graphics, any suggestions?

Your graphics card cant run shaders. You should get a new one for using them.
Though this 3.8 is pretty without shaders too.
