HTOTM: FUSION
They look great, expensive as well, but are all these things really necessary in out every day lives? Sure it makes things easier, but it's almost excessive. The apple version's touch screen looks very annoying and buggy, I would prefer the microsoft version anyday.

this is a really cool thing, they should just add a screen protector so the data could still be transferred and spills could be wiped up easily without damaging the table.
I've heard about this ages ago.

It's pretty much considered a failure. It's pretty pointless and the market is incredibly small.

The sensory equipment seems a bit over the top too. Many phones and computers simply use capacitative screens now. From what I read, it seams this is different?

And the idea of a computer table is pretty silly to me, if it isn't versatile.

I'd rate the product a 6/10 :3

Play Toribash on that.

but that looks really awesome, and i agree with pirate. i highly doubt that something like that is fragile.

And yet another attempt from Microsoft to make something High-tech that is completely useless in our every day lives.
Atleast, for now. If these things ever hit the market and become popular, they'll probably be just as usual as a computer is now.
It's not revolutionary, and the only way I can see that 'place and play' connectivity working is if everything had wifi.

Looks cool, I'm thinking about building a portable one (think graphictablet running vnc).

Certainly will be cool.

wtf its awesome, id use it.

I'm more into portability tho. But I do like the evolved interface, a step up from the classic keyboard and mouse (which lets face it, doesnt suit our needs all that well anymore, most keyboards and mice contain even more macro buttons or extra buttons, and i bet you will often find yourself pressing keyed combinations instead of just vanilla tapping. Long time comming, but its only half of what we need. The other half is wireless BCI usage with input and feedback)
