[PromoTeam Sponsored] Weekly Replay Contest; Week 1: Boomhit
This is the first of 5 single player replay competitions that will be hosted by PromoTeam and myself.

This week's competition will be on boomhits. These are fast, powerful, heavy hits that leave uke in pieces, demonstrated below by Shin-Ryuu:

Judging:
-The replays will be judged on speed, style and number of dismembers with the hits
-The replays will be judged by myself and EchoMarine

Deadline:
-You will have one week for this, so all entries must be in by the 5th of August at 21:00 GMT

Rules:
-All replays must be new replays made for this contest
-No moving of Uke
-No hacking
-No editing someone else's replay
-Up to 3 replays per person, but you can swap them in and out any time before the deadline
-No mods
-Gravity can be anything between classic and sambo
-Dismember Threshold 100 or higher
-No more than 1500 frames per replay

Prizes:
-1st place: 20k
-2nd place: 10k
-3rd place: 5k
-There will also be a Grand Prize of Void Relax for the Best Replay over the 5 weeks

Last but not least, good luck!

EDIT: Apparently there has been some confusion as to what constitutes a boomhit. Attached (with permission) is a very good example of a boomhit, done by PlayerID666. I recommend everyone has a look at it, even if you know exactly what a good boomhit is.

Why you can't change rules?

I think, nobody wants to do new replays... because everyone have own, good, old replays.

The entire point of the contest is for people to create new replays. You are supposed to enjoy making them, and this is just a way of channelling your creative juices.

Another thing: Why would you want to enter old replays? Even if they are good, they aren't perfect. Why not spend this week making them better and better, improving your chances of winning.

If you don't want to make a new one, don't enter. There will be plenty of people glad to see someone of your skill and ability not entering a replay.

I suppose that some of old replays will be valid... because check all dates of made replays is impossible.

for example, KronosLord's replay is unvalid too
he did this replay a half of year before...

PS don't worry, I'll do few replays ;p but this won't be such good as those...

I am relying on everyone's good will and trusting them not to post old replays.

Also, if your replays "won't be such good as those..." you are less likely to win.

I like the rule. It encourages people to make new replay.
