well how do i make textures? specially the head..

I do it with a program that looks like gimp, but the heads come out from creativity and knowledge about the program, thats why no one can really tell anyone how to make head textures or sets because the most of the time they come randomly or by request.But you can look on the forum or youtube for basic things from making a head texture.
