wax core: The spin was indeed stylish, but too slow for me to enjoy. The actual strike was ok, though, I think a kick while you are mid-air spinning looks better than a spin then propelling yourself with your arm (which is what you did). The replay kinda feels empty with just a core, but you weren't in a good position for a flowing decap. The pose was good until you took the extra step and looked up into the sky, cos that looked weird. Poses are best when all momentum stops and that's the end of that. No adjusting 100 frames later.
archer: The first kick was pretty nice, but felt somewhat stiff in some areas. The decap was ehh. I don't really like two kicks with the same leg consecutively. It usually looks bad. The two DMs after the initial splitcap weren't necessary IMO. If you were going for a madman, you should try to make the whole replay flow. The was too much of a pause between the inital splitcap then the next two kicks. Plus those two kicks weren't either stylish or brutal. The final DM also felt unnecessary. The actual strike was just a grab. I wouldn't consider hitting a chest piece to a glute anything special. If it was a head instead of a glute, then it might be worth adding. If it was actually a throw rather than a roll AND head a instead of a glute, than it would definitely be something worth adding. Honestly, something like that as a sacrifice for a pose isn't worth it.
Yes, I was harsh, but I rate EVERYONE's replays like this. I think it's kinda unfair to just say 'its cool' just because this person is relatively new.
