Also,I think in a sandbox game a mission is not so important, because people create their own missions if you know what I mean.

Ill just pretend that makes sense.

I must disagree with you here, CMon. If they did add in more random 'culls' shall we say, they would become way to easy to expect, thus making it boring and predictable. Don't get me wrong, I do like these mindfuckery moments and having more in would be fun for a while but it would get boring. But otherwise, great rant there, Cmon. I sure do enjoy reading them.
About GTA:IV: Maybe you're just slow ;o It took me about four hours of total gameplay to get to that 'pivot point' where the game stops treating you as some snot nose 16 year old (which is ironic considering you're playing as an ex-military Serbian guy who breaks someone's arm like ten minutes into the game when he gets charged at with a knife.) and instead hands you the keys to a mansion of fun. I found the missions a lot less repetitive than they were in previous installments, too. But to each his own.

Also I was expecting to see Kingdom Hearts on the list. I like the series but it has too much hype and fanboys/girls :V
How to complain in style: GG, Mahulk.
GTA 4 did have some faults in its system, the missions took too long for me beat, the graphics system was fucked, if your going fast and the rendering system decides to stop for a sec, the game just completely fucks up, everything is 10 feet from the ground. And really? Two expansions? To play in the same environment with a modifed storyline and three added things....Really? You dont even need those. All in all, GTA4 lacked some.
I enjoyed gta4. When I first got it, I just drove around like an idiot and caused general mayhem to get my willy nilly blast shit phase out of the way. GTA games have slow storyline. This is to emphasize the nature of the games. You start out as a peice of shit nobody, then work your way to the top. Its a classic American story, but set in the world of crime. Personally, I have deeply enjoyed every GTA game. Also, GTA4 was beautiful.

also, spore is fun more as creature design than an actual game. I bought it because I want to encourage originality in game design more than for actual gameplay.
i have a totally post modern tattoo of a scalene triangle.

The problem was Spore is that each level is less personal than the next, so whatever sense of accomplishment or connection you have with your character gets wiped out each level.
You know when you have been playing an rpg or action game for a while, and you start thinking things like "good ol' Karmez (name of my D2 necro), never fails to draw shit loads of agro despite having 40 odd minions". Well in Spore you may think "Good ol' Microbe, he may be fast be he sure does hate the poison" then you level up and you have a creature, but thats ok, because its still pretty personal. Then you hit village and you have to make a whole new connection with your village, but thats ok, the village is small, it just takes a couple of hours or days. But the village stage lasts barely an hour. And then its city, and you are like, wow i dont even really care what happens at this point, i want my character back.

Can't believe you missed out Farcry 2, Oblivion and MW2.
AND, drumroll please, the most overrated game of all time, the Guitar hero/rockband series. JUST BECAUSE YOU USE A GUITAR SHAPED CONTROLLER DOESN'T MAKE IT A GOOD GAME. seriously. one of the worst/most repetitive games ive ever played.
When I see you, my heart goes DOKI⑨DOKI

I think he meant if they put in more random "WTF?!?!?" moments to make the game non-predictable not necessarily "culls".

This explains why these games exist.

I think Halo is good, I like it
But GTA 4 it's not very good, maybe the best thing that they made is the phsychic of Endorphin.
