Let's all invest in vertical farms!

I'm not sure if it would work, but it seems like a good idea to look into.

I doubt that an ice age will come arround conveniently right after we invented the methods to do food production in small spaces - murphey's law and all - I think the human race will eventually come across the methods required to do so, it's just that too many people will suffer in the process.

But yeah! Vertical farms spam!
tl;dr: deprived is spergin'
Even if this does cause an "Ice age" it would only be what they call a "Little ice age" which is not nearly as bad as that picture of the UK completely covered in snow seems to be implying
if the northern hemisphere had an ice age, what's the bet that New Zealand, Australia etc get invaded? (Ice age is normally situated in an hemisphere not globally)
I'd say we'd be swamped by immigrants.
Of course, the Australian government is fucking xenophobic, so they'd shove them away.
Cue war when the countries finally have enough of our shit.

You're pretty sure? Well you're wrong. Those aren't really "black spots" like our eyes might perceive them, they're not "inactive" spots. They're actually the opposite. They're actually ultra-mega-major-violent explosions on the sun's surface...
I dunno if you read my post on this topic: http://forum.toribash.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=56

But scientifically they're called "coronal ejections": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronal_mass_ejection
