Easier to keep uke from getting kicked away as the body is collapsing around the strike point, obviously assists in getting more kicks in or why else would you have done it.
I actually started it from a different replay that just sent him up, and I relax uke after impact as a general rule for style. But I guess that makes sense.

Yorthan, Kai said limbs hitting the floor don't count. Look at the other replays in this thread.
as noweb said it is easier when uke is fully relaxed so thats why my first kick breaks his leg and i continue to assault him through the air
