Disagree. At most pricepoints there is a headphone that performs significantly better overall than a sennheiser in the same price bracket.
Arguably you could stipulate that sonic preference becomes a larger issue than SQ when you get to HD600/650 territory; however these are undoubtedly technically inferior to their direct opposition. I also do not think they sound accurate at all, because of the rolled off highs and the bloated bass in the 650.

You cant actually get grado in australia for a reasonable price, however the MS1 is essentially a grado SR125 and is available everywhere outside of america. IMO its slightly better than the SR125 because its slightly more balanced.
The soundstage on these isnt particularly fabulous, but IMO soundstage is hugely hugely overrated in headphones when compared to other factors like tonal balance and seperation.

To keep sound in or out. The reason why I dont like things like denon is because they are closed, but dont keep sound in or out very well at all.
