HTOTM: FUSION
This forum had +/- rep before...

I hated it. As a noob I had horrible rep just for surmising a control scheme for Toribash on Xbox Live Arcade...

<_<

I still say Toribash + 360 = win...
"Splint Chesthair" - Is my real name.
And that is why you fail.

Ahem... (I think it'd own too, but we can't let that get out)

In any case, I would rather not have a system in which people can judge someone so quickly simply for a stain put on their record. Reputation is built up over time and memory of the reputee (I don't say that cos I had bad rep - With the old system, my reputation was quite high). If someone deserves to be judged to be an ass, then it will show up in how he acts and posts. Simple as.

After all, rep is basically just another competition after post count, to be frank. Pretty petty.
Q = QUAKER OATS
Three rules of Q - 1. Qegola and Quarantine both start with Q. 2. There is no U in Qegola. 3. Qegola is you new god.

So a man walks into a bar with a monkey. I forgot the rest of the joke but your mom is a whore.
I liked the old karma system but i guess it is not possible to bring it back since this is another forum software
Uh, so I just realized now how our reputation system works, and I've been a toribash registered user for approximately a year. Here's the thing: you don't need reputation. If you are a good poster, you don't need to tell other people, they'll just figure it out. Also, the fact of the matter is that I didn't even know how to use it until right now when I took the three seconds to figure it out, because until now, I didn't have any reason to care. So, in conclusion, we shouldn't spend any time on reputation, because it's pointless. Also, this should be in the Suggestions board, it even has "suggestion" in the title.

I... don't see the relevance this has got to my suggestion. I'm just suggesting:
  1. Make a noticiable icon showing the general status of a member's reputation
and, as a more minor suggestion
  2. Make 10 points rep neutral, as opposed to good.

I think the entirety of the members posting - excluding BoVinE - have got the wrong idea.

I intend to speed this process up.

If you don't see any point in the system even existing, then you should campaign to have it removed. Simply because you, personally, don't see any use for it doesn't represent the entirety of the forum, neither does you only just noticing it represent how useful others may find it.

Incorrect. There's a board called "The Game" in a forum called "Toribash". The former holds the Suggestions board. From what I can tell, this topic has absolutely nothing to do with Toribash whatsoever.

Also, whoever -rep'ed me with the annotation "8" is clearly an idiot and I hope they aren't one of the members who've posted on this topic, because that would be ridiculously immature.
