ahh i see what u mean tbashed, its just i tapered the edges with brush pressure so it cuts off at the ends in like a sharp way? if that makes sense rofl, so ye at that point the lines were to faint to notice well hence its random disappearance.

Some pen tool work.
Added some shadows and highlights.
Filtered background,if I'm not mistaking.
You should have used a bit more high color range and could have changed the color balance.
And you could have made a ground destruction effect,added a circle to that and made a radical blur and then warped it. And you used some spam brushes <_<. Those brushes would look better at the feet,like some sparkle out there. Instead of floating,hes like standing on ground,like a fail jump
IMO,you should have made a better background to that,like some nature,with an awesome design in the background,could look better...
But anyways, it looks nice. So I'd give it a 10/10 if you'd have corrected the color balance,and have made some sparkle effects at the feet part and plus to that the ground destruction(like pen tool work too,duh,filters,shadows and a bit of sharpen at the edges.)
Overall,its a 7/10.

basically, why are the designs behind him so bold? you mentioned you did this on purpose. id like to know why. theyr distracting and take away from the focal point.

As i sadi before i want the grafitti styled background to merge with the actual focal so there meanings become one like a style of the street ( street dancer/ grafitti ) Ect. As for Lexx I never use filters ever rofl the whole background was created by me and a texture. As for th e sparkling feet i was going to do something along thoughs lines tryed it and relised that they were yet again to distracting. As for the "brush spam" Its all vectors except for the paint splat so =\ But ye thats for the constructive critism guyss (:
