Well, according to this thread: http://forum.toribash.com/showthread.php?t=192972, the head cannot leave the ground for more than 25 frames, and these were the rules the current record holder had to follow.

Except the fact that Dragenon is actually using sambo.tbm. Hence the less noticable bounces. Also, the spins including off ground bounces are usually excluded. I don't know if they do that anymore though.

However, it's War_Hero's call so we'll gain nothing by arguing it in here.

I'd say you got 8 and then the last 3 are too bouncy to count.
