Secret Santa 2024
Looks pretty nice you know. Wires are unnecessary I think. They dont seem to feet the hole concept.I like the material and that shadows/lights thing(called mapping? or not :o). Front plate is to empty for me(maybe some some cuts or huge scratch from the brow to mouth would make it look better. I mean from the place where brow and mouth are supposed to be if it was human lol.bad english is baaaad.) That red stripe is pretty sexy. Reminds me of Mass effect armor(here it is). Adding orange and blue colors is also unnecessary. Thats all is just my opinion, I'm not telling you what to do;)
I dislike the wires but the rest looks fantastic. If I designed a robot to be used as a killing machine, I wouldn't leave exposed wires.
the wires do seam a bit out of place
if you really wanted to keep them maybe not in that place
perhaps more discreet

wow...that shading is amazing...do you do that by using the brush as a dark and then air brushing a lighter color and smudging it out? if not then how? i wanna learn...;)
That has some sense to it, I'll cover up the wires, thanks!

I'll continue working on this next week.

I'm an artist.
You never stop do you? I have always been amazed by your artistic skills when it comes to texturing, and you really are a source of inspiration for me, i am not copying your style but trying to "aknowledge/understand" it, to find out how i can shade properly and literally improve my art.

Back to the topic...I really love how you shade and get all the pieces to fit. The details such as the dirt is really nice, and makes it look realistic, but it would really be "awesome" if you could make a crack or something in the "mask" showing an human eye or something, because in my opinion this thing cannot see...If it's no a "droid" ith some kind of sensors or something.

PS. I am not saying that it is "bad" because it is just the opposite. I am just expressing my opinion and feelings.

Keep up the good work ;)

Best regards, IXION :3
