Spinning Head Tutorial: As you used gimp to build this, you may go to FILTERS, ANIMATIONS, SPNNING GLOBE or something like that.
Then load it with the frame number you wish ( I used 25 frames ) and save it as a GIF imagem animation.

Post it in any website, then use the INSERT IMAGE button in a new thread or topic or reply.

everytime i save it as .gif and go to upload it on here it turns into .jpg

Blancester, Try uploading your photo to imageshack and then using that. Just upload it as a gif then copy the image address. This can all be done without making an account on their website so why don't you try it out. That's what I do and it always works. Also, when saving it as a gif are you prompted with a window that asks you to merge the image layers or save as an animation?
