Have you tried running the installer with admin rights, by the way? Could be that the installation itself was incomplete, as it doesn't require admin rights to run.

We have seen this problem before, but really, none of us know how to fix it. You have tried other versions, I guess? I doubt if 3.8 will do any wonders, but it's worth a try if it worked before.

Easiest (and only "sure" way to fix this) is to delete the whole Toribash folder and then remove all (iirc there's one..) reqistry entries made by Toribash.
And then reinstalling Toribash with admin rights.

But you can also try creating "history.log" and whatever other files your Toribash installation is lacking. That has done the trick once or twice.
