I think being offended by racism is an excuse to whine about something personally, I couldn't give a shit if some guy was racist towards me over the internet, I'm British and talk to americans over ventrilo a lot (less than I used to) and we joke about it, I call them fat, they say I have bad teeth and eat crumpets and drink tea all day (which isn't true, I hate tea, don't have a daily supply of crumpets or I would eat them all day and my teeth are fine)

HOWEVER being racist in a public board is a whole other matter.
