I used to fuck around with rpg maker, good luck there mate, also you can sign me up for beta-testing etc.

I did a little bit of RPG maker VX (including sprite making) a while back. Didn't really like the battle system though (Earthbound style, would've preferred the old RPGmaker 2003 style).
Good luck with this. It takes heaps of effort not to give up half-way through :P

Absolutely! this is something i really enjoy doing, and we bended the scripts abit and we have another battlescript, so hopefully this will catch others interests.
If you are interested you can give the spritemaking a shot for the game.
