I find it amusing that schools can be so touchy on subjects like this. I bet it was more of the principle that the actual shooting.

Its just bullshit lol.Shooting paper pellets isnt really a fire gun so it cant be considered as a danger for others.Expelling is something but being held in 3 assaults charges?Thats way more than 0 tolerance...thats -100 tolerance.

Well it's happening and isn't ever going to stop. America has gone too far trying to stop bullying and they are literally just being bullies themselves. Honestly, I can see someone getting a harsh talking to by the principal of the school, but 3 assault charges is way out of question.

I don't see how the punishment fits the crime at all. If you want to stop destructive behavior throughout an adolescents life, you must educate them.

You educate children through schooling, through sitting down with them and explaining, through making them talk to who they bullied and understand how the other person feels. You don't make him an a-social sociopath learning nothing from "homeschooling", casting him out of society, and providing no form of positive reinforcement.

That is way out of line. No one should get expelled for firing small projectiles. That is just as stupid as the rules here. If someone picks on you and starts a fight, they expect you just to ignore the guy wacking you with a stick or hitting you and go to the office/admin and not retaliate or you get expelled along with the one who's hitting you. another stupid rule is that if the cleaners in the playground/oval/tcukshop/eating area, complain about the amount of rubbish they put us in a seating play and don't allow us to leave till half way through lunch.
The school rules are starting to get rediculous.

I have a friend that got an ISS for saying something that I cannot remember.

It was something like "You're the bomb".

well, it's not a news to me, that USA law is one of the most stupid in the world. You can buy a gun publically but you cannot shoot projectiles in class. This is just another example that ppl who make laws are on crack.

Stuff like this usually happens when the teachers and staff are looking to relive their boring lives. They need something, anything, to give them that thrill of coming to work and over-exaggerating over things like this.
