First we need to establish what we're actually trying to achieve by doing this.

The last thing I want to say about that no similar orgs rule is that, there's no need to cram everyone into giant orgs. There's plenty of room if someone wants to make their own.

Our main goal here is to keep things running smoothly, and keep the orgs and clans happy.

So what do you say about not making this rule public?

- Open up applications for clan events local mods?
- Recruiting other clan event staff.
- Not trying to sound like gorman or anything, but it doesn't make sense to have the recruitment center in clan events. Should be a subforum of clan discussion.

That "no similar orgs" rule targets the wrong orgs. It's not worth having overly strict rules if we don't have to.

Now that "That place where we discuss and create eventy things" has been shifted into clan events, it's time we started getting people who want to run it. I'm sure there are a few people out there who would want this position. Wouldn't know how to find a good team though. Really don't want to be stuck on this on my own :|

I've set up a bank account with 200qi on it called ClanEvents. However it's empty. Some sort of monthly funding needs to be arranged.

So I got asked the other day what it costs for a clan to have a namechange.
I didn't know the answer. And there is nothing in Fish's thread about it. So, is there a price on it?

I don't think delaid has been charging people for it. But I wasn't about to advertise FREE CLAN NAME CHANGES in that sticky.

If that's an official clan asking for it, keep an eye on them. Name changes are often used in attempts to dodge the council.

Of course it was an official clan. DSCs can easily change their names.
But yeah, I'll keep an eye on them.

I'm thinking it may be a good idea to add an "Are you sure?" message to the toriclan quit button.

It would suck if someone were to accidentally click it (some retards do) and leave the toriclan.
