The whole "what is a noob" thing is always tricky. I have had the game for several months, and I own the crap out of any of my friends who play, but vs the community of experienced active people who have blackbelts from online play and are in "clans" or guilds or w/e I'm worm vs jedi ;). If this game ever became my primary game that I played (which I doubt), then I would become Jedi, perhaps, but for now I have no aspirations in this direction.
Making replays in single player takes patience and not much else, as I see it. For some of the replays I've posted at least I had the dm setting to 80, which now I have learned is noob :o). I have not, to this point, posted anything to reflect my skill at this game (far from it). I edit replays countless times, sometimes frame by frame, until it "looks cool."
For me making replays is like making movies. I want it to be a cool movie that is fun to watch.
The replays that I've posted at 100+ dm setting were not to make it harder for me, but to keep my feet and hands from breaking off so easily, lol.
What defines skill in Toribash? Seems to me that multiplayer replays / titles /awards / clans (hell I don't know). etc would be the realm for that.
How skilled of a player am I? see attached ;)
