Toribash
Jujitsu if you want to learn something useful, otherwise Muay Thai is more entretaining

Thanks for the opinions guys, I decided to stick with Muay Thai for a year and then switch over to boxing for about 6 months so I can pick up what I need from both. Depending on how each one goes, I'll either look into BJJ or something for ground control/grabs etc or continue on one of them.
I've done Muay Thai for 6 1/2 years, along with 1 1/2 years of extreme Tang Soo Doo

Muay Thai is better.
Former Toribasher. Never any good though.
Rest in peace Tint.
lol i think most of the people here don't have idea what Muay Thai is.
otherwise you wouldn't say "Muay thai is not so useful in real situation".
Muay Thai is one of the most effective martial art,it is few spectacular and 100% effective(above all in real fights, because anyone in the street think you are going to hit him with the elbows/knees,or to take him in clinch in short distance for give him a knee in the liver...while everyone will aspect you will attack with your hands). The sense is to give maximum damage in minimum hits.Infact m-thai could be a problem in real fight, because you risk to damage too much your opponent(so risking to have problems with law)if you are not able to control yourself(i'm not joking. You should try to take an elbow in face at minimum power for understand what that could do at maximum power.Same for knees)
Now clearly also in M-thai there are moves that are not suitable for a real fight, but except if you think to be so stupid to use them anyway,i suggest you m-thai:i started with boxe, and got easily tired of it(so few things to learn..after few time you are just perfecting your style, while in every other martial arts you need years before stop to learn combos and moves, and start to perfecting them). Then started m-thai,and now it is one of my main passion(Clearly this worked only for me,i'm not saying will be the same for everyone).

Anyway as everyone know isn't the art,but the fighter that really count

I have done Muay Thai for almost 3 years and i can ensure you that it is usefull in daily basis situations. It makes use of all your body, it makes your bones and body stronger.
Basically it makes you able to kill your oponent, after some years of practice.
Muay thai.
Why?
Boxing only teaches punching to my knowledge.
Muay thai teaches elbows, punching, knees, kicking, and some more i think.
Also in Muay boran, i think you can headbutt.
