It's like when you have a pet you love, people expect you to get them put to sleep because you love them and don't want them to suffer. Yet when it comes to humans, we don't do that, it's even considered morally wrong by most for some reason.
I understand why people frown upon killing ones self when you are healthy, but not when you're sickly. I suppose the masses just want to keep people alive as long as possible, under any circumstances.
I couldn't find a way to put it better, but the #3 was right but not in all cases. As in the family should realize that by taking them off the machines you don't have to see a loved one in pain, and they should be happy because of that.
Why should they be happy?
There family member is dieing. They it should be they are sad because the
doctors are giving up.
