Living implies dieing.

This is unavoidable.

It does seem odd to me. When I was a kid, I'd ask my parents why people in hospitals do use euthenasia. To which they'd reply "Because it's illegal" To which I would reply "Why"

I understand why people frown upon killing ones self when you are healthy, but not when you're sickly. I suppose the masses just want to keep people alive as long as possible, under any circumstances.
My seniority means you should probably just agree with everything I say

True, but as mentioned before, being terminally ill isn't. Changing variables doesn't help the discussion.
Sure, a perfectly healthy person who stubbed their toe is fine. Someone who's coughing up blood with two weeks to live isn't. Is it ok to kill one but not the other? I'd say that pretty much sums up what's being asked.

Sounds like the old American "No man left behind." motto that's just caught on with everything else, even things that it shouldn't have caught on to.

Cogito ergo sum. I think therefor I exist.

I know it's true because it says so right here in this signature.

But seriously bru, I don't think anyone would have a problem (morally) with letting a terminally ill dude that's in heaps o' pain choose to end his life. Objections?

So the only issue that remains is whether that ill guy can give the doctor guy permission to kill him. Thoughts?

From my point of view, He was doing all-good.

There are some people who cannot see others in pain and can just do ANYTHING for them to release their pain.

He would have thought:

"If death is a way to stop their pain, then so be it."
I think Kevorkian was a great and brave man, willing to jeopardize his lucrative career and even freedom for a good cause. Hopefully US will eventually grow up and legalize physician-assisted suicide, like Holland.
Well, it's good that he takes the pain and suffering but isn't most of the problems in life

fixable.

For example: There are Doctors, there to help and treat any pain you may have.

For, depression there are therapists.

Final conclusion: Yes, death is unavoidable but for some one to assist suicide.

For jokes.

Did you guys notice that Therapist= The Rapist?

Maybe, I just spelled it wrong.

Why should they be happy?

There family member is dieing. They it should be they are sad because the

doctors are giving up.

Would you rather see a family member or a close friend live in pain knowing you can't help him? I'd rather have them dead than let them live in pain.
