If you want to listen to hip-hop listen to Substantial, Cise Starr, Asheru, etc.
If you want to listen to more production-based rap listen to DJ Shadow or Nujabes.
The Carter 4 is not going to be a good album. I can say this with relative confidence because Lil' Wayne has yet to produce a single solid track in his entire career, let alone an entire album full of 'em.
Protip: album sales =/= good music. Album sales = ability to appeal to idiot pop music consumers and 14-year olds who think a catchy hook amounts to musical genius.
