I used to spend a lot of time posting around the toribash forums, until one day I was informed of a rumour that was quickly spreading through the community. The rumour went that he who passes the 10,000 post mark would have their account removed from existence. Every post removed, every item transaction reversed, every quote deleted. Nobody would remember you, nobody would ask about you, it would be as if you never existed. I went into hiding almost immediately. I didn't even want to get within 1000 posts of 10,000, the consequences just seemed too large. If I kept posting I thought there may be no return, and that I just wouldn't stop until too late. I created a new account and carried on my activity, and have since reached just over 6,000 posts on that account. I know my limits, and if I ever get that close again I'll just create another account. For the sake of remaining anonymous, I'm posting on this account rather than my latest one, thus risking my account and my entire toribash existence. Please don't let this information go to waste.
