On a more serious note, schools need to teach better Religious Edumacation.

But in the USA church and state are to be separate!

Jewish synagogues are much like any church. They gather together and follow the rites and customs of their religion. It is through this function that any religion becomes a communal event.

You may notice by my mannerisms that I have no faith in such customs.

It's a Church for Jewish people O_o There's nothing mutated or amazingly special about it. They might have different practices but like dika said alls they do is gather there to follow their religious customs.
