Oh, and DrJim, I think it was actually Lucifer, for he was the first one to disobey, though technically not sin. I dunno, it was someone in the book of Genesis.
Guess I can't get folk like to you laugh once and a while.

Edit: It was the Egyptians
The history of cake dates back to ancient times. The first cakes were very different from what we eat today. They were more bread-like and sweetened with honey. Nuts and dried fruits were often added. According to the food historians, the ancient Egyptians were the first culture to show evidence of advanced baking skills. The Oxford English Dictionary traces the English word cake back to the 13th century. It is a derivation of 'kaka', an Old Norse word. Medieval European bakers often made fruitcakes and gingerbread. These foods could last for many months.

Question has found an answer, yay!

Cake, well I never liked it! The texture is so gross. I cant stand it i usually have GIANT muffins to replace cakes. I'd have to say it would be better party then dessert. I dont see the cake in restaurants to much nowadays.

All they had was original sin. Not sin itself.

Kids these days.

But really, fuck that, there's no God.

Excuse me, but how the discussion of a fuckin' cake changed to adam and eve?

Also, Cake is a special sweet dish which is mostly used for special events like birthdays, parties etc and yes, it is used because of both fun and yum yum.
