Every indie game developer takes their time to make games like these. It's well worth the money over graphic quality because of how much time one or two people put into it.
Just look at Minecraft, Hammerfight, or any other indie game.

This game is pretty old, I remember the first version they made was free, they recently created a new version which they sell now which comes with like 4 maps and the ability to make mods. It's alright I guess, not much replay value I got bored of it within a couple of days. And to anyone who's asking about how to get this game for free;

Get a job and pay for it.
