Well if it is just for gaming, then get the i5-2500k, as the i7 does not offer an advantage in gaming over the i5.

Hm, in this case you better go for AMD, you will save money enough to buy decent monitor, which I didn't see mentioned anywhere, and those things are +120 euros (at least) to the price of the configuration itself.

I must also add that PC components seam expensive in some countries, since I bought very solid machine a year ago for 700 euros and it still able to digest any game that came in the meantime.
Although windows I installed myself, and... It was a version for students. :P
