I'm not quite sure what your actual point is, as your first point doesn't really relate to your overall point... But I agree about having fun, a lot of more experienced players (myself included) miss out on the fun element rather than the achievement element. About the clans, I believe these new random clans have a negative effect on the game overall, but I haven't the time to explain my full meaning right now.

I agree with this 90%. I get where you are going on the thing with clans, but the fact that so many are popping up, is slightly ruining the whole concept. What I would say on this is that organizations could take place of these people wanting to make clans to just be ina group with a few buddies.

Well little children, gather round and hear a story. I come from an age when clans were few and er...hmm how do I put this... good. Back when Evil wasn't shit and was ran by Nukem. Back when Empeream was a dick. Back when spirit wasn't even around. Hell, back when you actually had to have the publics approval. This was a much better time. Now I see billions upon billions of clans with people who have a 1 in 30 chance of spelling correctly (Second Languange aside) In MY opinon, that which we enjoy bandying about so much, we should go back to the public voting system and abolish most of the existing clans.

But organisations are not the "real deal". They don't assume a server or a forum :P
Perhaps go back to voting on every new clan, like Soul said? So that community balances itself.
