As an emotional piece it's not that important wether it's shaded or not, or if blue would be good or not, but just throwing that out aswell.

Danzos like I said, It’s difficult to come up with a single definition that will please everybody.

Very very awesome. Simple design, simple colors, but it shows so much more. Beautiful work of art, done amazingly. I like the look of the 'cartoon heart,' if you will, inside the human heart. It really does seen broken and hurt.
Danzos:

Blue and red are mostly used to show warmth and the cold.
I wanted something different since I don't really like the blue/red contrast.

Orfeas:

Yeah, the "love heart" is the resemblance of the love I once had,
basically it left a heart shaped hole in my heart.

DrJim:

Thank you, I was aiming for that.

This is great, so simple yet I love it. I appreciate the great amount of thought you put into your art.

actually, the right side of the picture does have a blue/purple tinge in comparison to the right, i think the transition between the red and the cooler purple/paler hue comes accross quite strongly.

a heart without oxygen is blue(or rather, blood without oxygen loses all its red colour and take the red out of it and its more blue than anything else)
metaphorically speaking, so is a heart without love.

I love it, its grimy, stylish, subtle and relevant.
I will put it on my sandwich tomorrow.

Praeter:

Thanks, I try.

BenDover:

Thanks, will probably taste like chicken.
Also, blue was too standard for me. As I said, never was that fond of the hard red/blue contrast.
At least not in my pieces.

The human heart stripped of fat and muscle, with just the angel veins exposed.

I really like it and the angle is really awesome.
but like Danzos said a cold vs warm feeling would be really good.

I think it looks really cool. As Danzos said, the heart shape in the middle is original. Also, the fact that you posted it to "express your feelings" makes it better.
