His review isn't far off the mark. While admittedly the review is half-assed in terms of dedication, he's giving a review that saves the reader from investing the money to get their own first impression. He makes a few claims that I disagree with, like that the novelty of the game is being impressed with the mastery, not the game, but his observations that the game is hard to get into and tediously slow and confusing at first is well founded.
Given time, he might change his mind, or he might stay true on his opinion, but his review is merely a first impression type of review, and it's pretty dead on.
