What's the most beginner friendly type of character? I've played an embarrassing amount of League and Starcraft so I don't think I'll be really bad at moving around and stuff, but is there a type of character that would help me learn the game without dying all the time?

You should do the tutorial, when you finish the stuffs that associated with it you get a free bloodline, for the rest you should try the free(week?)champions against bots and see which one you liek

Harb is a really great class! Really, there are no "newb friendly" classes except for maybe Glutton. It all depends on how you want to play the game. xD Reaver I don't enjoy much myself, and STAY AWAY FROM MY HEAD HUNTER. jk, he's just the most fun bloodline in the game ATM, in my opinion.

I've just been playing Harb and Reaver. Both are so fun. I wanna try Ranid though
Edit: Engineer seems really cool too, although i'm pretty bad with him after playing only melee damage people.
