you have the basics down with cutting brushes apart to use pieces you like, but the rest is so rough.
your pen work with the red highlights is so straight, use the pens curve function to make it match
and its so pixelly... the red outlines did you magic wand them or something?

If this is your first trybal (get it try at a tribal?) I'd say it's pretty good.
One thing to look out for is the repetitiveness, it appears to have three sets of eyes because they are all shaped the same.

chaco: I used 1 brush to make the whole texture, thats why it is repetitive.
EDIT: Sorry chaco, looks like I used 2 brushes but I used the second one just once.
