I personally don't have much to talk about the grindcores/pornocores/gorecores/brutal slanderous death metal bands and so on.

I don't set up a brutal meter on what I listen, I just listen if I like.
Bands I like to listen and I consider way brutals are Anaal Nathrakh, Gaza and Nephelium.



But w/e, they are just songs.

All this sucks. I mean, I am a fan of death-metal(more tech-metal) but come on, this is just bad. Yeah! Let's pound that snare and bassdrum. Random noises mang. Yeah, you guys might say this about all metal genres; but tech-metal is more than just repetitive blast beats and shitty growls.

this type of metal is loved for one thing: not talent, not the music, but the brutality. hell, I listen to my fair share of Merzbow, and all he is is a transformer washing machine on speed.. I can't explain it, but something about the ear-splitting noise appeals to me... its almost masochistic
