When people talk about thing being bad, they often are comparing it to something else, that is in a similar field.
I mean most people wont say a BMW is a shit car, because it surely beats cheaper cars on the market, taking price out of the equation. same applies here, were comparing fruity loops to cubase. I have worked with fruity loops for a while, and also cubase, and my opinion is that fruity loops is far more limited, and easy, meaning it has less in it. Basically, it isn't good :P
